the school life because I have too much headache. I stressed out because my Putonghua isn improving. I study

family is very nice!

My topic is New School Life. Now Let me read the text first...Now class begins.
Ⅰ. Warming⁃up and lead⁃in
T:Hello,everyone. Look at the PPT. What can you see?Yes,this is our timetable this term. We go to school
and have subjects every day. How do you like your school life?Do you enjoy it?Why or why not?
Ⅱ. Pre⁃listening
T:Boys and girls,have you ever studied abroad as an exchange student?If yes,what problems have you met?
If not,assume you will experience it and imagine what difficulties you will face. What should you do with the
difficulties?
Ⅲ. While⁃listening
T:Let listen to the tape of the text. Listen to the material for the first time in normal speed and summarize the
main idea of the material.
T:Now listen to the tape for the second time. This time we should listen to the material again sentence by
sentence and get specific information of the material. After the listening,answer the following questions:Why doesn
the writer feel well?Why is he stressed out?How does he think of his host family?Youl have three minutes to
discuss with your partners about the answers.

T:Now all eyes on the slides. The photos are all about school life both in Britain and in China. What are the
differences about school life in the two countries?Wel have a short discussion.

of you will decide what school life he/she is going to interview,the school life in the future or in the past?Then the
other one can use his/her imagination to make up the school life. Have a role play and then several of you will be
invited to act out your dialogue to the class.

T:Choose at least one of the tasks freely and do it earnestly.
a. Make a dialogue with your cousin to interview your cousinschedule.
b. Search the internet to learn about the school life in another foreign country and depict it in the next class.

1. 我本次设定的情感态度目标主要有如下两个:一是学生能锻炼主动克服学习过程中所遇困难的能
力,二是学生能够进一步提高对英语学习的兴趣及动机。
2. 听前活动的主要作用在于让学生对所学材料内容有所准备,因而,我认为听前活动可以采用以下几
种方式:
(1)介绍相关的背景知识,用图片或视频的视觉效果吸引学生对听力材料的注意力,激发学生的观察能
力和描述能力;
(2)提供一些词汇或相关问题,让学生测试所要听的材料内容;
(3)提出一些开放性问题锻炼学生的想象能力和分析问题的能力。
